Atalaya roving docents (training)

Mike Walker has a date for training Atalaya roving docents.

He would like to meet at 10 am on February 2nd at Atalaya.

Mike asked if anyone interested would reply to him at 843-235-8755 or

He wants to limit the session to 10 people. If needed more sessions could be added.

Membership Dues

Membership dues for the Friends of Huntington Beach Park for the year July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021 will be increased as follows:

Individual Membership - $35

Family Membership - $40

Supporting Membership - $60

The Friends membership increases are in alignment with the South Carolina Park Passport increases that were effective January 1, 2020.

Our Mission

The Friends of Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina was founded in 2003.  We are dedicated to helping the park fulfill it's mission of providing quality outdoor recreation and educational opportunities, and sustaining the integrity of the park's natural and cultural resources.  The Friends are partners with the park; together, we are able to accomplish park improvements that otherwise might not be possible. 

Huntington Beach State Park Map

The Friends of Huntington Beach State Park is a nonprofit organization that provides physical and monetary assistance for Huntington Beach State Park. The goal of the Friends is to improve the quality of the experience of visitors to the park. All proceeds (above cost) from our Fundraisers go directly to this park. Anyone can help the Friends achieve their goal by becoming a Volunteer or making a monetary donation.
