#3 and #8 Turtle Nest Inventories

I finally made it to a turtle nest inventory at Huntington.  Nest #3 - 121 hatched, 7 did not hatch, no dead, no live left in nest.

My second inventory was nest #8, which was this past Saturday night.  I don't know all the numbers because I was to excited to see my first Loggerhead turtle babies (10 were still in the nest).  I know it is better if they all have gotten out and made it to the ocean by themselves.  I also know that maybe these ten might not survive because they did not have the strength or whatever they needed to be able to get out of the nest on their own. It was still amazing to see them making their way to the ocean and I hope they all survive, especially #10!
